EVERY STUDENT HAS A PLACE IN GOD'S STORY

At K1, we want to guide our students in developing a personal faith in Jesus and to equip them to live out the story God is writing in and through their lives.

We understand that the middle school and high school years are a time when students need to know they to belong and have someone to walk alongside them as they navigate their personal journeys.

K1 Students aims to provide warm, relaxed environments where students can connect with one another and with committed adult leaders who want to support them in their journeys as they grow into the image of Jesus. At K1, we also believe that parents are the most important influence in the life of a student and that it is our responsibility to partner with and equip parents -- not replace them -- as they help their students navigate their personal journeys.

GATHERINGS

We’d love to have any 7th - 12th grade students join us for one of our weekly ministries! Join us Sundays at 9:00 AM for Sunday School, Sundays at 6:00 PM for Life Together, or Wednesdays at 6:30 PM for 242 Groups. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to Pastor Jacob or our K1 Students Team!

Sunday School | Sundays | 9:00 AM

Each Sunday morning, students have an opportunity in an open group format to discuss topics relevant to life in the context of today's student culture. This setting provides a safe environment for students to wrestle with their questions, face their doubts, and seek to understand what it means to live as a citizen of the Kingdom of God in the American student culture of today.

Life Together | Sundays | 6:00 PM

Each week, students gather together for worship, prayer, and fellowship. With biblically-sound, student-relevant teaching, students are given an opportunity to connect with what living with Christ looks like in today’s world. We strive to create authentic environments that allow opportunities for growth together.

242 Groups | Wednesdays | 6:30 PM

Each Wednesday night, students have the opportunity to reflect on biblically-based teaching that challenges their viewpoint on Christian living in today’s world. Small groups, like 242 Groups, are the backbone of K1 Students. We orient everything we do around the relationships and connections that these groups cultivate. Our groups are based on age and gender and are led by committed adult leaders who foster warm, relaxed, and safe environments where students can thrive together.
